What They're Looking For.
Must Have
minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in real estate or hedge fund accounting, reviewing experience of NAVs, financial statements, reconciliations, investor reporting, and other complex fund, Mandatory hands-on experience with Yardi or Paxus, at both preparer and reviewer level, proficiency in fund accounting and financial reporting systems, advanced Excel and data analysis skills, practical knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and compliance requirements, Demonstrated experience in real estate or hedge fund structures, including complex entity hierarchies, multi-currency transactions, partnership accounting, and investor allocations and reporting, Proven ability to perform detailed technical reviews, resolve complex accounting issues, research and interpret accounting standards, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and provide clear, well-supported recommendations with a high level of accuracy and judgment, Fluent in written and spoken highly professional, proactive, and detail-oriented

What You'll Do.

risk and compliance adherence
stakeholder communication
ongoing development and performance oversight of Accountants and Junior Accountants
Review and oversee the preparation of NAV calculations
and complex ad hoc and client-specific reporting deliverables
and ensure the timely and accurate output of Accountants and Junior Accountants
providing clear feedback
and technical support
Act as a subject matter resource for assigned clients by understanding fund agreements
and reporting requirements
and serving as a key liaison with cluster teams and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with internal policies
and SSAE or similar regulatory requirements
including risk identification
and remediation tracking
and stakeholder management activities
including workload planning
system usage best practices
and participation in fund onboarding
and continuous process improvement initiatives
