What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of progressive experience in real estate or hedge fund accounting, Reviewing experience of NAVs, financial statements, reconciliations, investor reporting, Hands-on experience with Yardi or Paxus, at both preparer and reviewer level, Proficiency in fund accounting and financial reporting systems, Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, Practical knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and compliance requirements, Demonstrated experience in real estate or hedge fund structures, Experience with complex entity hierarchies, multi-currency transactions, partnership accounting, and investor allocations and reporting, Ability to perform detailed technical reviews, Ability to resolve complex accounting issues, Ability to research and interpret accounting standards, Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, Ability to provide clear, well-supported recommendations with a high level of accuracy and judgment, Fluent in written and spoken English, Proactive and detail-oriented, Capable of mentoring Accountants and Junior Accountants, Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and clients, Adapting quickly to changing business and regulatory requirements

What You'll Do.

Fund onboarding and system conversions
Risk and compliance adherence
Review and oversee the preparation of NAV calculations
and complex ad hoc and client-specific reporting deliverables
and ensure the timely and accurate output of Accountants and Junior Accountants
Act as a subject matter resource for assigned clients
Ensure compliance with internal policies
and SSAE or similar regulatory requirements
and stakeholder management activities
