4-year bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2+ Years of cost accounting, 2+ Years of inventory control, 5+ Years of overall accounting experience, Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

MBA or CPA designation, Manufacturing industry experience, D365 experience
What You'll Do.
Ensure compliance within company financials
Oversee and manage costs related to inventory
Oversee and manage costs related to operations
Prepare and present monthly performance analyses
Manage all aspects of inventory accounting
Process inventory-related journal entries
Process COGS-related journal entries
Prepare month-end reconciliations
Analyze month-end results against budget
Investigate unusual variances
Identify root causes of variances
Respond to questions regarding variances
Lead inventory portion of annual audit requests
Create standard costs for all locations
Maintain standard costs for all locations
Revalue standard costs annually
Participate in the development of internal controls
Participate in continuous improvement
Review COGS at month end
Review Gross Margin at month end
Review inventory balances at month end
Create operational analyses
Analyze operational analyses
Create financial analyses
Analyze financial analyses
Collaborate with department leaders
Identify cost-reduction opportunities
Eliminate inefficiencies
Support Supply Chain initiatives
Ensure accurate accounting of inventory
Ensure accurate valuation of inventory
Assist with special projects
Assist with ad hoc reports
Assist with ad hoc analyses
Adhere to company’s Code of Business Ethics
Maintain high safety standards
