### **Job Title: Senior Accountant** **Position Type:** Full-Time, Remote **Working Hours:** Flexible, aligned with U.S. client business hours ### **About Pavago** Pavago is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to lead core accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making. This role goes beyond transactional accounting and bookkeeping. The Senior Accountant will own full-cycle accounting processes, support month-end close activities, maintain compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, assist with audits, and help strengthen financial operations through process improvements and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with operational discipline, financial analysis capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced remote environment. ### **Responsibilities** ### **General Ledger & Journal Entries** • Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll allocations, depreciation, deferred revenue, and intercompany transactions • Maintain reconciliations across key balance sheet accounts including cash, AR, AP, inventory, and liabilities • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting records and supporting documentation • Review ledger activity for anomalies, inconsistencies, or reconciliation issues ### **Month-End & Quarter-End Close** • Lead monthly and quarterly close processes and ensure timely completion within established deadlines • Maintain detailed close checklists and coordinate cross-functional close activities • Prepare trial balances and validate completeness of financial records • Ensure all supporting schedules and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time ### **Financial Reporting & Analysis** • Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports • Conduct variance analyses comparing actuals against budgets and forecasts • Provi
