What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, at least 2 years in a public accounting or high-growth SaaS/technology environment, Solid command of US GAAP, financial statements, and reporting requirements, Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel skills, communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
NetSuite experience, Experience with one or more of the following areas: Accruals, Fixed Assets, Partner Fees, Leases, and Prepaids, CPA license (or active CPA candidate)
What You'll Do.
Own day-to-day accounting for a variety of accounts including accruals
and other GL accounting areas
recording journal entries
preparing reconciliations
Execute key aspects of the monthly
and annual close processes
completing of financial reporting deliverables
balance sheet reconciliations
income statement variance analysis
and maintain accounting policies
and procedures to support close requirements and scale with the business
researching technical accounting guidance as needed
Provide financial insights and reporting to internal stakeholders
prepare support for the external audit and respond to various requests and inquiries
Independently identify
champion and implement process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
Serve as a key accounting resource on acquisition integration activities
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner cross-functionally with FP&A as well as operations teams across the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting; Provide financial insights and reporting to internal stakeholders, including FP&A and other business partners; Serve as a key accounting resource on acquisition integration activities
