The team is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology that powers Mastercard’s next generation payment applications – Domestic, Cross Border and Bill Payments. Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash. To accelerate this mission, we are committed to building & scaling the products & applications that transform payments of any type. Real-time payment technology is central to this strategy. As the Senior Accountant, Mastercard Transaction Services Controller, this role will support the Cross-border (XBS) automation strategy to ensure that the accounting & reporting is managed in accordance with US GAAP. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the reconciliation and other activities to support the critical XBS project and other Controllership tasks, implementing operational enhancements and controls, and delivering measurable milestones. This role will ensure a strong internal control environment, be familiar with and adhere to all Mastercard policies and processes that mitigate risks for the Company, function, and department.
