**About the Role** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations across multiple entities. You will play a key role in financial close processes, general ledger management, and multi-state tax compliance while partnering closely with leadership to improve processes and strengthen internal controls. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency * Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes * Prepare journal entries, perform complex reconciliations, and analyze variances * Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including filings and audits * Maintain state registrations and coordinate with external tax advisors * Support intercompany transactions and consolidations * Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP * Lead external audits by providing documentation and analysis * Partner with internal teams to improve accounting processes and controls * Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax regulations **Qualifications** **Required:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting * Experience with account reconciliations and financial close processes * Hands-on experience with multi-state tax compliance and sales and use tax **Preferred:** * CPA or CPA-eligible * Experience with ERP systems, Sage Intacct a plus * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills **Key Skills** * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and lead processes * Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members **Work Environment and Schedule** * Office or hybrid work environment * Monday through Friday schedule, with flexibility between 6:00
