What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, Experience with account reconciliations and financial close processes, Hands-on experience with multi-state tax compliance and sales and use tax
Nice to Have
CPA or CPA-eligible, Experience with ERP systems, Sage Intacct a plus, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
What You'll Do.
Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities
ensuring accuracy and consistency
and year-end close processes
Prepare journal entries
perform complex reconciliations
and analyze variances
Oversee multi-state sales and use tax compliance
including filings and audits
Maintain state registrations and coordinate with external tax advisors
Support intercompany transactions and consolidations
Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Lead external audits by providing documentation and analysis
Partner with internal teams to improve accounting processes and controls
Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax regulations
