What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), or qualified by experience, Experience in costing and management accounting, understanding of UK VAT legislation
Nice to Have
ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environments, Advanced Excel experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) is an advantage
What You'll Do.
and review all transactions impacting the Site P&L
including month-end accruals and prepayments
Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations
Manage manufacturing accounting
including Work-In-Progress (WIP) and costing
Produce management reporting and budget comparisons
including sales analysis
departmental base cost
and headcount reporting
Oversee and report on Accounts Payable
Perform bank reconciliations
and annual corporate reporting packages in line with US headquarters requirements
Partner with the SSC on AP preparation
Support internal and external audit activities
Report on functional spend and departmental expenditure
Provide cover for team members during peak periods or holidays (e. g.
Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed
