What They're Looking For.
Must Have
bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, 5+ years of professional work experience, master's degree and 3+ years of professional work experience, equivalent experience, Ability to understand, review and explain financial results and business drivers, Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction
Nice to Have
Previous professional work experience in finance, preferably working with (or in) a life sciences or manufacturing company or within public accounting, CPA or CA designation preferred, Public company experience is preferred but not required, Orace Cloud or NetSuite Experience is preferred but not required, OneStream experience is a plus
What You'll Do.
preparation of monthly reporting
support annual audits and quarterly reviews
support of internal control and compliance initiatives
preparation and review of journal entries
balance sheet reconciliations
review of monthly consolidated results
oversight of any unusual transactions
reporting provided to help senior management understand the underlying business drivers
Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews
manage timelines and deliverables
standardize and streamline recurring processes and data collection activities
Assist in the setup and/or maintenance of processes
procedures and controls that properly capture
track and report financial results
Provide support for footnotes disclosure for financial reporting purposes related to applicable general ledger accounts
Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems to deliver better business outcomes
