Must Have
Minimum of 8 years’ experience as accountant (A’ class signatory rights), Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar, Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English, analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment, High ethical standards
What You'll Do.
Manage all accounting activities
including recording transactions
and maintaining accurate
fully supported financial records
for audit and tax purposes
Ensure full compliance with tax
and regulatory requirements (including MyData
withholding taxes etc)
and manage external tax audits
Perform treasury activities including payments
loans (withdrawals/ repayments)
Prepare and post all the annual closing accounting entries both under Greek GAAP and IFRS
review and sign off the financial statements under IFRS / Greek GAAP
ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
Lead the annual statutory audit and support the external statutory auditors
Monitor all financial aspects of the real estate project
and ongoing financial analysis to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
Prepare and present financial reports (budget vs actuals
and key insights to Project Management team relating to the Real Estate Project
Support similar accounting activities of Antenna Group Accounting team
Participation in various Finance projects

The ideal candidate should be a passionate and self-motivated individual with excellent organization and analytical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The senior accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accounting and tax compliance of a real estate company, managing the accounts of a big construction project by monitoring a detailed budget, overseeing supplier contracts and having overall control of invoice statements, costs and reporting.
