2 years’ equipment finance experience, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, decision-making skills, strategic planning skills, Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent software packages

Ability to sell effectively to current and prospective clients
What You'll Do.
Originates new equipment finance loan and lease business
and closes each transaction
builds and expands existing business relationships with customers
and/or emails to current and potential loan and lease program partners to identify their needs and transactional process and close equipment financing opportunities in alignment with credit guidelines
Develop and maintain a current knowledge of pertinent internal systems including usage and selling of the portal and pertinent software
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards
and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite
Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management
Maintain M&T internal control standards
including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable

Team & Collaboration
Build and maintain relationships with peers in other areas of the business, including Accounting, Operations, Sales, Credit, Asset Management, Collections, Pricing, Business Intelligence, and Legal to obtain the requisite support for responsibilities
