Full Job Description
Location: Remote - US only (CT timezone overlap required) Compensation: $60K base + 10% commission on setup fees **Realistic Year 1 OTE: $150K–$200K (uncapped)** **ABOUT THE ROLE** We're a marketing agency serving a specialized niche in the financial services industry. Our founder has handled all sales calls to date, and we've now grown past what one person can close. This is the first dedicated sales hire on our team. You'll inherit warm, pre-qualified inbound appointments — but you'll also help us build the sales function from the ground up. If you want a role where the playbook already exists, this isn't it. Taking 5-10 warm strategy calls per week with pre-qualified buyers (filtered through a setter) 2. Consultative selling to financial advisors and firm owners 3. Building out our sales playbook with the founder - objection libraries, follow-up sequences, CRM workflows - 4. Pipeline hygiene, contract sending, and close 5. Weekly close-rate reporting and post-call debriefs **WHAT YOU WON'T DO** * Cold calling * List building or outbound prospecting **Requirements** **YOU'RE A FIT IF YOU HAVE** * 3+ years of B2B closing experience selling retainers, coaching, consulting, or financial services * A documented close rate of 25%+ on all warm leads (not cherry picked) * Comfort with consultative sales to sophisticated buyers * Proven track record of $150k+/yr performance based compensation prior to this role * A builder mindset - you've helped shape sales at a previous company, not just executed someone else's playbook * US-based with availability during US business hours **THIS IS NOT A FIT RIGHT NOW IF** * You need a fully built playbook handed to you * You've never built anything from scratch * You want a 9-to-5 with no commission upside
