3+ years of experience in security administration, maintaining sensitive personnel records, and classified material handling and document control within a cleared government or military environment, Knowledge of DISS and NBIS personnel security systems, Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, DoD Manual 5205. 07, and 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) directives, SECNAV instructions, and USMC orders such as MCO 5510 series, Ability to take direction and tasks from SMO personnel while also functioning independently, Active TS/SCI willingness to take a polygraph exam, HS diploma or GED, Ability to obtain USMC Security Management Course and ODNI Special Security Officer Course (SSOC) Certification within 180 days of hire date, Ability to obtain CDSE STEPP trainings such as Derivative Classification, RMF, OPSEC Awareness, and Unauthorized Disclosure Certification within 90 days of hire date

Security Specialist **The Opportunity:** The Security Specialist is a key position responsible for assisting the Marine Corps Security Manager and Special Security Officer (SSO) with the execution and administration of the command security program.
