Full Job Description
**Position Title:** Security & Safety Ops Spec & Regional Security Ops (PHL) **Shift:** **Job Description:** Responsible for overseeing the security operations command center, electronic security systems, and site emergency management. Primary duties include but are not limited to: Managing electronic security systems (ESS) including installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and badge printing, while providing 24/7 oversight on assigned site. Conducting investigative reviews of incidents through the ESS. Sorting, receiving, and responding to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees and non-employees via the security hotline. Leading evacuations if needed during emergencies and handling external communications with local authorities and hospitals. Identifying , analyzing and reporting all incidents of onsite emergencies and business continuity plan activations through text blasts, email blasts and the PA System. Conducts research and must be decisive on whether a situation presents a threat to company assets based on information available. Monitoring weather, news, or events that could potentially impact the company, notifying stakeholders and RSOC, and generating reminders, newsletters, and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual). Collaborating with the Regional Security Operations Center monthly to ensure updates and alignment with Elevance Health standards. Support implementation of policies and procedures, issuances onsite, and KPI for direct reports / contingent workers. Conducts transfer of technology transfer training sessions.
