Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Conduct advanced research on anti-bot systems, web protection technologies, and mechanisms that block large-scale data collection. Design, build, and improve HTTP client infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient web data acquisition at scale. Reverse engineer adversarial systems, including fingerprinting techniques and bot mitigation strategies, to identify weaknesses and bypass mechanisms. Monitor emerging web standards, protocols, and security technologies that may impact data collection capabilities. Develop and refine methods for simulating real-world adversaries against anti-bot systems to evaluate system resilience. Contribute to the evolution of large-scale data collection platforms through research-driven engineering improvements. Collaborate with engineering and research teams to translate findings into production-ready solutions. Requirements 5+ years of experience in R&D, security research, software engineering, or testing roles in complex technical environments. Strong understanding of HTTP and TLS protocols and how they are used and manipulated in real-world systems. Experience in at least two of the following areas: programming in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C++; penetration testing or offensive security (e.g., OSCP, OSEP); web or mobile security research; reverse engineering (including JS deobfuscation or binary analysis); malware analysis; or anti-bot/WAF/DDoS system development. Hands-on experience with reverse engineering techniques and adversarial system analysis. Familiarity with anti-bot technologies, web security tools, or large-scale protection systems is a strong advantage. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex systems and identify weaknesses. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
