RingCentral provides Voice-over-IP (VoIP), hosted PBX, voicemail, SMS, e-fax, and HD video meeting solutions for business. **About this role:** As a Security Operations Architect at RingCentral, your primary responsibilities are to design, implement, and enhance operational security processes for RingCentral’s global cloud service, corporate and development environments. This includes both technical and human processes that manage the daily effectiveness of security infrastructure, security automation, vulnerability and patch management, event management, incident management and identity and access management. You will be required to work collaboratively with other highly technical subject matter experts to develop custom solutions that align with RingCentral’s specific tools, technologies and practices. _You will be responsible for analyzing and advising security leadership about RingCentral’s evolving corporate IT and production networks._ **Successful Candidates will:** * Have proven skills in all disciplines of security including: * Security network infrastructure and components (Firewalls, Web App Firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc) * Endpoint protection for traditional OSes and containers (EDR/XDR, malware prevention, file integrity monitoring, etc) * Security Events and incidents, including log sources, SIEM integrations, playbooks, runbooks, policies and * Vulnerability detection (Pentesting, scanning, red team, etc) * Vulnerability Management * Have strong knowledge of the diverse methods and technologies used to attack web/mobile/desktop applications, SaaS infrastructure, and data * Think critically, work well under pressure, and possess strong analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated track record of strong decision-making in process design and technical architecture * Be strongly self-motivated
