What You'll Do.
Ensuring safety and security of our building and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence of site Assignment Instructions
Daily KPI’s and daily Security job cards.
Writing complete and accurate Incident Reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports.
Claim Reduction - Investigate missing packages via CCTV & the DPD Internal Tracking system in order to determine area of concern/loss.
Working as part of a team to deliver excellent security and customer service.
Coordinating activities between contractors
employees and visitors.
Liaising with emergency services and other third-party organisations.
Conduct periodic testing of Fire Alarm
Door Access and Shutter Security
Access Control System
and thermal monitoring systems.
Uploading and maintaining Facial Recognition system on a daily basis
Conducting Vehicle Gatehouse duties
Answering calls and supporting the DPD Security Supervisor with any requested duties / tasks.
Managing an airport style search area
completing full searches of all staff and visitors as they leave the building
Targeted searches of staff and trailers within the hub
Internal & external foot patrols
Incident support and management
