At least 21 years of age, Able to work with minimum supervision, High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, Must be capable of walking or standing 90% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift, Required to walk over uneven terrain, Capable of frequently pushing or pulling up to 50lbs, Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50lbs, Specific vision abilities required, Exposed to outside weather conditions, including inclement winter weather, Moderate noise level
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
21 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, Valid Drivers License and clean driving record, Ability to pass a criminal background check, Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures, Able to follow all policies and procedures contained in Security Manual, Effective communication skills, oral & written, sense of customer service & safety awareness, Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards, Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time in all weather conditions, Work well as part of a team, Skill in observing situations and decision making, Able to work with minimum supervision, Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations, High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Nice to Have
A valid California Security License issued by the BSIS, Basic CPR/AED and first aid training, Minimum one year security experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience
What You'll Do.
Serve and protect guests
staff and physical assets
Maintain Company service standards
safety policies and procedures
Provide a safe environment for staff and guests
Patrol the Resort and provide protection
Be visible and accessible
watching for criminal activity
Check doors and windows of buildings
Transport guests and staff as needed
Unlock and/or lock doors as requested
Identify safety hazards and remedy or report
Respond to alarms and dispatched
Maintain comprehensive Daily Log
Interact with fire department and law enforcement
Complete accurate and thorough incident reports
