What You'll Achieve.
Ensure exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service are always provided
Industry & Context.
Take ownership of all situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary
Be available to cover at least one additional shift per month if requested to cover absence/annual leave
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
SIA and CCTV license essential, First Aid Training
What You'll Do.
Interact with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre
Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre
Be of assistance to visitors at the shopping centre
Safeguard all the sites are safe and non-threatening environment
Manage all incidents in accordance with site policies and procedure
Liaise with site control room
Report unsecure areas of the site to Control Room immediately
Record/log all non-conformances and emergencies
Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies
Monitor and surveillance of suspect individuals
Log and report incidents
Manage unauthorised access by banned individuals
Adhere to radio procedures
Record all events/incidents in the Security Officer notebook
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events
Complete all training requirements
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Liaise with site control room proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are fully briefed and always supported; Liaise closely with the Environmental Services team delivering one service and highlight opportunities in working as one team; Any other duties as assigned by your manager to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the business
Communication Scope
Readily interact with all visitors/tenants; Keep the Centre team fully informed
