Minimum of six (6) years of Physical, Personnel, and Special Security experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, Demonstrated experience supporting compartmented programs within DoD, the U. S. Intelligence Community, or in direct support of U. S. Government contractors, Solid and varied experience planning, developing, and accrediting Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and other classified spaces in accordance with ICD 705 standards and applicable Intelligence Community directives, Thorough familiarity with all security processes, procedures, and regulatory frameworks governing the protection of classified information, special access programs, and controlled access programs across the DoD and Intelligence Community, Demonstrated ability to develop written technical approaches, security methodologies, and program protection documentation in support of security proposals, contract requirements, and programmatic security planning efforts, Working knowledge of applicable security policies and regulatory frameworks including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual Supplement (NISPOM) and DoD 5105. 21 Volumes 1-3, Active TS/SCI security clearance required
Nice to Have
operational-level experience strongly preferred, Facility Security Officer (FSO) National Classification Management Society (NCMS) certification preferred

The program will support US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida. *This position is contingent upon contract award* *This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance* Responsibilities Process personnel background investigations and manage special security clearance actions, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with applicable DoD and Intelligence Community standards. Formulate, implement, and monitor compliance with automated information systems security procedures to safeguard classified information and ensure the integrity of sensitive programs. Suggest, implement, and monitor compliance with special security policies and procedures, ensuring all personnel adhere to established security protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct and coordinate training for special security representatives, ensuring all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their security responsibilities. Serve as a liaison with Government and industrial security officials, overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures in support of JSOTF and tenant organization requirements. Plan and accredit facilities in accordance with ICD 705 standards, ensuring all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and other classified spaces meet applicable accreditation requirements.
