ParkX Management is currently seeking a Location Security Officer to help ensure our properties remain safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for residents, tenants, and guests. Position Overview The Security Officer plays a key role in maintaining safety, access control, cleanliness, and overall positive guest experience across our properties. Key Responsibilities Include: Conduct hourly patrols using the security system Manage access control for guests, tenants, and vendors Monitor property conditions and report safety concerns Perform routine foot patrols indoors and outdoors Enforce property rules and issue Ban Notices when required Maintain plaza kiosks and enforce plaza policies Communicate rules, updates, and directions to guests Monitor parking and fire access areas Support marketing teams during events (location-specific) Assist with valet operations and traffic flow during special events Qualifications: High School Diploma DC Certified Security Officer Minimum 1 year of customer service experience Valid driver’s license with no major violations Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Professional, trustworthy, and customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Benefits Compensation: Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, Life Insurance Career Development - Opportunities for Advancement within our expanding portfolio - Annual Professional Development Funds to fuel your growth Employee Perks (to name a few): - Free Parking and EV charging - Parental Leave Program - Enjoy a Friendly
