What You'll Do.
Secure gates and buildings
Notify authorities of emergency
Verify authorized individuals enter property
Provide facility directions
Check gate passes for authorized exit
Check departing vehicles against theft
Greet customers at gate
Provide prompt and courteous service
Resolve customer complaints
De-escalate difficult situations
Input vehicle information using handheld device
Verify VIN number matches Bill of Lading
Watch and report irregularities
Account for and identify keys and codes
Maintain emergency telephone numbers list
Maintain good operating condition of equipment
Notify management of breakdowns

Role and Team As a Security Guard, you will be an integral part of the Security Team executing processes at our facility to ensure our associates, customers, and assets are protected. At our gates, you will be the face of ADESA to our customers, vendors and associates. You will play an active role in ensuring our Inventory Control procedures are followed. You will be adept at utilizing ADESA technology. You will support vehicle location research when necessary. This position is hourly and reports to the Operations or designated manager. This position may work various shifts and weekends. Responsibilities Secure all gates and buildings and patrol the premises. Sound alarms and notify authorities in case of emergency.
