Key job responsibilities As a Security Engineer on the STRIKE team, you will: • Conduct time-bound (2-4 month) targeted security engagements with business units across Amazon Stores to drive risk remediation • Identify cross-cutting security gaps in differentiated environments and drive remediation to resolution • Partner with core security teams to improve existing security mechanisms and propose new ones when needed • Generate actionable security insights from engagements that inform investment in self-service security capabilities • Enable business units to independently identify and resolve security challenges, reducing long-term dependency on security teams • Act as a Trusted Advisor across the organization, clearly articulating risks to both technical and non-technical audiences A day in the life The STRIKE team (Security Targeted Research, Insights & Key Engagements) is part of the Differentiated Security Team (DST) within Stores Security.
