What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/IT/Computer Applications or significant demonstrable experience in IT Security / IT, Good command over English language
Nice to Have
Microsoft Sentinel KQL knowledge, Familiarity with SOAR workflows, Experience in Managed Security Operations, Knowledge of ITIL Foundation Framework, Experience with Microsoft Security and Compliance tools, Experience of CrowdStrike EDR/IDP, Knowledge/Experience handling OT Security alerts, Knowledge of Privacy Compliance Frameworks
What You'll Do.
Monitor SOC Dashboard
Verify incident facts
Enrich data using SOAR
Perform preliminary triage
Send email notifications
Assist seniors in triage
Report alerts handled
Identify repeat false positives
Identify interesting patterns
Perform monthly maintenance tasks
Develop detection rules
Fine-tune detection rules
Incorporate threat intelligence
Optimize alert thresholds
Analyze security logs
Analyze telemetry data
Prioritize work effectively
Handle shifting priorities
Mitigate security risks
Improve SOC capabilities
Create detailed reports
Create post-analysis reports
Contribute to SOC process improvement
