What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering (e. g. , Telecommunications Engineering), 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering field, Solid understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetic theory, and signal processing, Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practices, Basic knowledge of wireless communication principles and technologies (e. g. , LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi), Familiarity with RF testing equipment (e. g. , spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators) and simulation software (e. g. , MATLAB), DOD Security Clearance

Nice to Have

Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS or Jama, Experience with CAD software for schematics and layouts, Experience with Model-Based-Systems-Engineering (MBSE) tools, Prior internship or project experience related to RF or wireless communication systems on military UAVs, Basic programming skills (e. g. , Python, C/C++) for automation or data analysis

What You'll Do.

Assist and support in the design

and testing of secure radio communication systems and components

Support the development and implementation of system architectures and specifications

Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software components

Conduct laboratory and field testing of RF equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to radio communication systems

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Assist with the installation and configuration of radio communication systems and equipment
