What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 8 years relevant Engineering/Project Management experience, Previous engineering team leadership experience including oversight of schedules and budgets, Ability to take an analytical approach and utilize technical knowledge to solve challenges with optimal solutions, organization, problem solving, time management and communications skills, Ability to communicate effectively with program management, functional leads and Government customer, Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience, The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required, U. S. citizenship is required
Nice to Have
Prior experience as a Product Support or Integrated Logistics Support Manager (PSM / ILSM), Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) and/or Control Account Manager (CAM) experience on DoD programs, Prior experience creating compliant technical proposals, Active SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance
What You'll Do.
Review team’s products to ensure they meet internal & external customer requirements
Manage and document the team’s upcoming workload
Have one-on-one meetings with employees
Conduct yearly performance appraisals and mid-year reviews
Being aware of employee gaps and overall development needs
Perform weekly timecard approvals
Approve expense reports
and technical accuracy of WLE products and services
Identify Specialty Engineering requirements within Statements of Work (SOWs)/specs
Active customer management
Active participant in program reviews with a WLE focus
