Associate degree in Automotive Technology, Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience in automotive technology, repair, diagnostics, or related field required

**Position Title:** Secondary Automotive Instructor **Job Description:** **HINDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE** **Job Descriptions** ** _JOB TITLE:Secondary Automotive Instructor_****REPORTS TO: Dean of Instruction – Dual Enrollment and Secondary Centers** **DEPARTMENT: Office of Dual Enrollment** **EXEMPT: yes** **VICE PRESIDENT: VP of Career and Technical Education ** **GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION** All Hinds Community College employees must commit to the Caring Campus approach to student engagement and daily apply these general behavioral objectives: listen to student questions and concerns with a positive attitude and make meaningful connections with students. Teach the assigned classes of students according to the overall goals and objectives of the department, advancing the students’ knowledge of the subject matter. **QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
