What You'll Do.
Stand a bridge watch at sea or at anchor
Draw up passage planning from port to port
Assist Master in creation of mud maps
Ensure all radio checks are performed
Deliver induction to all new crew onboard
OH&S onboard representative
Ensure all safety and firefighting equipment is maintained
Liaise with Expedition Leader and Purser
Assist in handling and transportation of guest's baggage

To support the operation, an opportunity exists for a Second Officer to join our fleet with an immediate start. What You'll Do * Stand a bridge watch at sea or at anchor * Draw up passage planning from port to port for each voyage the vessel undertakes * Assist Master as required in creation of mud maps for areas and ensure all control sheets are completed * Ensure all radio checks are performed in accordance with legislation and all other bridge equipment is working in accordance with required specifications * Deliver induction to all new crew onboard the vessel. * OH&S onboard representative, responsible for running a monthly OH&S meeting * In liaison with the Chief Officer ensure that all safety and firefighting equipment is properly maintained and meets survey requirements * Continually liaise with the Expedition Leader and Purser to determine the daily program of activities and requirements * Assist in handling and transportation of all guest’s baggage to and from the vessel and other turnaround duties as required.
