**Department:** 35900 Atrium Health Cleveland - Nursing Med Surg: Clinical Decision Unit **Status:** Full time **Benefits Eligible:** Yes **Hou****rs Per Week:** 36 **Schedule Details/Additional Information:** * Full time - 3 12-hour shifts * Day shift - 6:45a to 7:15p * Every 3rd weekend **Pay Range** $19.80 - $29.70 Join our 24-bed observation/medical unit at Atrium Health Cleveland, where you will care for a variety of patients. Our specialty is observation patients (chest pain, kidney stones, minor surgeries), we also take overflow medical/surgical patients on our unit. We have very strong relationships with our hospitalist group, who provide quality and compassionate care to our patients alongside our nurses. Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby is a 241-bed hospital serving greater Cleveland County, NC, and the surrounding region. We were the first Level III trauma center in NC, offering advanced emergency care. We strive every day to bring advanced care to the community. We also believe in serving the community outside our hospital walls, as evidenced by our commitment to health education, and through our contributions to organizations such as United Way and Relay for Life. Essential Functions * Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living. * Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene. * Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements. * Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to specific procedures. * Maintains patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition. * Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions. * Orients patients/families to unit and instructs patient on safety measures. * Assists with clerical work such as, including answering phones, entering data and maintaining medical records. * Maintains stock supply items in inventory management. * Performs duties as outlined in the scope of Nurse Aide I (per applicable state Board of Nursing Nurse Aide I Tasks List). * Perform technical tasks with a
