Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, 5+ years of related work experience in aerospace engineering, 5+ years stress analysis experience, 5+ years supplier integration experience, Understanding of EASA Part 21J certification process

Nice to Have

Good understanding of EASA regulatory requirements, Understanding of applicable airworthiness requirements, Familiarity with CS-25.561, Familiarity with CS-25.562, Experience in seat development and certification, Experience with STC processes for aircraft seats, Experience certifying novel seat features, Ability to manage multiple programs

What You'll Do.

Be responsible for certification activities for aircraft seating

Produce STCs that allow post-delivery installation of new

Serve as a Boeing representative for stress

Perform analytical and finite element (FE) calculations

Assess and predict structural failure modes

Execution of root cause analysis

Compile structural substantiation documents

Review data from our suppliers for integration approval

Work closely with Boeing teams and other internal
