Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 06/18/2026 ** _About this opportunity:_** Under the direction of the Backup Day Shift Supervisor, the Seasonal Relief Operator - Rail will assist in the safe operation of the Rail-Loading operating area. This includes operation of all types of equipment, pumps, valves, and control panel consoles. Additionally, the Summer Relief is responsible for documentation of daily activities. This successful individual will work with other Offsites personnel and various LR Departments when needed, as well as the CN and CP Train Master. Work schedule to be determined. * Overtime as required based on business needs and schedules. * This position is based out of our Lloydminster Refinery facility and would require the successful candidate to reside/relocate to the area. * The applicant will be required to work in a wide variety of conditions due to the nature of the operation (working at heights, in confined spaces, with noise, in extreme weather. conditions, toxic environments, etc.). * This is a unionized role (UNIFOR). **_What you’ll do:_** * Safely load railcars with molten asphalt and other bulk commodities in accordance with operational procedures * Follow daily work instructions and comply with all safety requirements and protocols * Prepare rail equipment for maintenance activities, issue work permits, and perform spot checks to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently * Complete all required training and ensure assigned training hours are met * Act as First Responder during emergency situations,
