_**Job Requisition**_ JR23740 _**Worker Time Type**_ Full time _**Worker Sub-Type**_ Seasonal ** _Shift_** ** _Job Description_** **POSITION PURPOSE** The primary responsibility of this seasonal position is to operate and troubleshoot the robot including bagging and/or stacking ice on pallets as required and operate the forklift and any other relevant machines as needed. Some decision-making ability. Occasionally shut down the line when defects are noted or safety violations observed. Must work in a safe and responsible manner to protect personnel and property. Demonstrates our “True North” attributes: voice of the customer, respect for the individual, no nonsense communication and utilization of facts, servant leadership and has a continuous improvement mindset in every facet of leadership and daily interaction. Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** Set up and operate industrial robot used in the manufacturing process, according to specifications and pre-programmed machine control instructions. Reads work orders and specifications to determine prescribed setup and operation. Enter commands to start robot, observes robotic operation, and monitors screen of machine controller for malfunctions and error messages. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on robot, including minor repairs, changing robot settings, suction cups and heads. Learn to start and stop the line when needed. Monitor production quality, including regular bag weight checks; make modifications to the production line if weights do not meet specifications. Complete daily DVM boards. Perform bagging and
