Full Job Description

Pear Tree is hiring an SDR / Appointment Setter on behalf of a UK-focused B2B business looking to scale its outbound pipeline. This is a dedicated cold-calling role — your job is to get decision-makers on the phone, build interest, and book qualified meetings for the closing team. You'll be working UK hours from South Africa, targeting senior stakeholders across mid-market and enterprise companies. You need to be comfortable navigating gatekeepers, running multi-touch outreach sequences, and holding confident discovery conversations that earn the meeting. Day-to-day you'll be executing outbound call campaigns of 80–120+ dials per day, researching and prioritising target accounts, qualifying prospects against defined ICP criteria, booking meetings directly into the sales team's calendar, following up on email and LinkedIn touches to drive phone conversations, and keeping CRM data clean and pipeline reporting accurate. **Requirements** Minimum 3 years of B2B SDR or outbound sales experience — this is non-negotiable. You need to have done this at scale and have the numbers to prove it. Demonstrated experience selling into the UK market, with a solid understanding of UK business culture, decision-making structures, and buying cycles. A provable track record of cold calling success — we want to see metrics: dials per day, connect rates, meetings booked, pipeline generated. If you can't back it up with data, this isn't the right role. Based in South Africa with the ability to work UK hours (typically 9am–5pm GMT/BST). Excellent spoken English with a clear, professional phone manner that builds credibility with senior UK decision-makers. Experienced with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and comfortable with outbound tooling (diallers, sequencing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). Self-disciplined, target-driven, and comfortable with high-volume activity and daily rejection. **Benefits** Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission tied to meeting
