“Scribe at U. S. Urology Partners. Skills: document every aspect of a patient’s encounter, navigate through Electronic Medical Records System (EMR), document patient care as dictated by the provider. Provide administrative support to Physicians. Interact and work with the patients and provider in order to accurately document every aspect of a patient’s encounter”

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected, Physical Demands: employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or reach with hands and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma, One to two years of experience working in a medical practice as a Medical Assistant, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Electronic Medical Records experience
What You'll Do.
Provide administrative support to Physicians
Interact and work with the patients and provider in order to accurately document every aspect of a patient’s encounter
Work under pressure effectively in a calm and timely manner
Make and receive phone calls on behalf of the provider as necessary
Be able to successfully navigate through Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)
Recognize the physical exam process and possess the ability to record exam details
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to document patient care as dictated by the provider in a legible and clear manner
and federal guidelines for documentation
Complete and present the medical record in collaboration with the supervising physician
