What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BSc (Hon) in a Biological discipline plus relevant experience, Experience in medical laboratory techniques, Excellent organisational and writing skills, Ability to work as part of a team, Good communication skills, background and proven experience in virological assays and tissue culture techniques, Experience in optimisation and validation of a range of virological assays including viral neutralisation assays, Experience in handling clinical samples and their analysis
Nice to Have
PhD in a Biological discipline OR equivalent experience, Experience with database computer software and file management, Experience in the conduct of early phase clinical trials, Experience in working in a quality-controlled environment preferably an accredited facility following ISO/IEC 17025, GLP or similar, High motivation and enthusiasm for medical research and the progression of therapeutics and vaccines

Provide scientific expertise
Assist in development
conduct of virological assays
Perform sample processing
Order and maintain supplies
Obtain quotes for supplies
Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained
Ensure good housekeeping
Assist in development
validation of biological assays
Perform assays for research projects
Assist in production of standard operating procedures
Perform data analysis
Assist in production of reports
Adhere to accreditation standards
Ensure safe laboratory activities
Maintain communication with colleagues
Participate in training activities
