Full Job Description
Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is advancing next generation radio conjugates as precision medicines for cancer. By combining Fusion’s deep radiopharmaceutical expertise with AstraZeneca’s global scale and reach, we are working to translate bold science into meaningful outcomes for patients. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, innovation-driven team at the forefront of oncology research. We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on **Scientist, Bioscience** to support portfolio programs through model development, mechanism of action studies, assay development, and _in vitro_ characterization of radio conjugates. This role is ideal for a strong laboratory scientist who thrives in a fast-paced research environment and enjoys working across subject areas to generate high-quality data that advances discovery and development programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of a broad range of cellular, molecular, and biochemical assays. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues in biology, chemistry, and radiochemistry, this individual will help build robust _in vitro_ capabilities to support target evaluation, candidate profiling, and translational decision-making across the portfolio. **Accountabilities** * Establish, maintain, and optimize mammalian cell culture systems to support candidate profiling and biological evaluation. * Design and perform experiments to characterize radioconjugates and investigate biological activity. * Apply methods such as immunohistochemistry (IHC), flow cytometry, ELISA, western blotting, and related assays to generate high-quality experimental data. * Support the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of new _in vitro_ assays to address evolving project and platform needs. * Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate experimental findings through reports, presentations, and team discussions. * Maintain accurate, detailed,
