Full Job Description
**[What the role is]** Scientist (Nutrition and Metabolism) **[What you will be working on]** We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented candidate to support a research project focused on nutrition interventions involving various local cuisines. The role involves supporting study coordination, managing research logistics, conducting data collection activities, planning and preparing intervention meals, and assisting in the preparation of scientific reports and documentation. The job responsibilities include the following: * Coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of a research project on dietary intervention * Plan and assist in the preparation and delivery of meals based on the study protocol. * Manage logistics including participant recruitment, scheduling of visits and meal delivery. * Perform study monitoring, study progress and ensure all research activities comply with ethical and safety guidelines. * Manage adverse event documentation. * Liaise with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth study execution. * Conduct nutrient analysis of the meals and participants nutrient intake data. * Analysis and interpretation of data and preparation of the study report. **[What we are looking for]** * Qualification in nutrition, food science, biomedical science, sports science, or related field. * At least 3 years of experience in research coordination of human studies. * Familiarity with research logistics, participant coordination, and data collection tools. * Comfortable with field-based work and hands-on measurements, able to work flexible hours. * Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team. * Able plan and prepare multi-ethnic meals for nutrition intervention. * Knowledge in nutrient analysis is an added advantage.
