**Job Title:** Scientist II, Chemistry **Job Description:** **The Role:** Our site in **Burnet, TX **is seeking a **Scientist II, P roduction Analytical Chemist,** to join our team. Come help analyze and characterize the materials that help design, deliver, and optimize some of the most critical semiconductor devices in the world. Be a part of a team and organization that is pushing the boundaries of chemical manufacturing through your expertise as an analytical chemist! We are seeking a Chemist with in-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry and techniques applied to the characterization of complex mixtures. This knowledge is required to troubleshoot, develop, and optimize analytical methods for routine and non-routine QC analysis to support the Manufacturing and Engineering Teams. Due to the complex nature of sample matrices, this opportunity allows the right person to expand upon their technical skill set and participate on a dynamic team in a growing organization. The ideal candidate will be results and detail oriented, strive to be an excellent team player, and be able to apply their solid knowledge of chemistry, mechanical inclination, good lab practices, and familiarity with the criticality of materials science in the semiconductor industry. The hired individual will work 4 10-hour shifts on 2nd shift (2pm-12am) with rotating weekends. **What You’ll Do :** * Demonstrate leadership in maintaining safety and quality culture * Prepare and conduct chemical and/or physical analyses as defined by existing work instructions on routine and non-routine samples using analytical instruments including: ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC, GC/MS, HPLC, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, NIR, KF, etc. * Document, process, transfer, and review analytical data to ensure completion, conformity, traceability, and validity and support production and other internal/external customer needs; Take corrective action when necessary * Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for product tes
