travel for up to 5% of your time, Biology and chemical laboratory environment experience needed, Environmental health and safety requirements also apply, Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Ph. D. in Biology, Behavioral Pharmacology, Physiology, Neuroscience, or related discipline with research experience in disease-related biology, BS or MS degrees may apply but must demonstrate a minimum of 8 to 10 years of significant and relevant experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, cell culture expertise with proven experience in cell line development, Experience with basic molecular biology techniques using DNA, RNA, and protein, knowledge of molecular biology techniques to support cell line generation, Detail-oriented, with excellent organization and record-keeping skills, Capable of working both independently with minimal oversight and in a collaborative environment, Outstanding written and oral presentation capabilities, Software knowledge in Windows, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams), GraphPad Prism, among others as required
Nice to Have
Experience in RNAi (siRNA, miRNA, ASOs) design and delivery, Experience in developing cancer, immunology, in vitro cell-based assays
What You'll Do.
Develop and maintain multiple cell lines independently
Implement excellent aseptic technique required for primary cell culture
and validate pharmacology assays
and interpret assays independently
Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks in a timely and accurate manner
Write standard operating protocols
Support the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on scientific integrity and quality
