**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients** **Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 450000 (ie INR 4 - 4.5 LPA) ** Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time Work Timings : 8 a.m. to 5 pm. – Monday to Friday, and on defined working Saturdays. Job Summary : The Senior Lab Incharge is responsible for the smooth functioning of all three science laboratories- Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in accordance with the standards specified by the IB school **Requirements** Duties: Laboratory preparatory work * Scientific knowledge and understanding and ability to handle lab equipment * Organize and prepare the labs for class sessions and examinations * Maintain work area and equipment in the prep lab * Work with teachers and head of the science departments to plan * Work with the teachers and follow guidelines while setting and adhering to safety standards * Maintain, construct and operate equipment * Carry out tests to verify material supplied Inventory Management * Create and follow a process oriented approach towards managing all lab requirements * Identify materials required for all labs and liase with procurement team * Maintain a check on stock and prepare purchase orders in time to ensure timelydelivery of material * Liase with vendors and ensure material purchased is the best quality and approved bythe department head * Check material for expiry and manage disposal of waste. Educational Qualifications Bachelors in Science Experience Required 2 to 6 years experience as a lab technician in a leading ICSE or IB school ### Skills Science Lab Assistant
