Are you an experienced School Social Worker dedicated to making a profound impact on students with learning differences? What You’ll Do Provide critical direct and indirect social work services to children and their families, addressing their unique psychosocial and emotional needs. Collaborate across school or IEP teams to develop comprehensive, tailored treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that incorporate measurable social work goals. Serve as a systemic expert by offering staff critical insights into the cultural, familial, and societal factors that influence student behavior, academic performance, and overall well-being. Lead mental health and behavioral interventions by designing and implementing positive behavioral intervention strategies and performing comprehensive mental health evaluations. Support families and school staff by providing parental support and guidance to facilitate successful school adjustment, and training educational staff on behavior management techniques and direct support as required.
