What You'll Do.

Support psychoeducational assessments and formal behavior assessments under appropriate supervision.

Assist with writing clear

Assist with the implementation of assessment recommendations

Participate in pre-referral meetings and provide consultation to school teams regarding intervention supports for students.

Provide direct and indirect support to students receiving social-emotional or behavioral interventions.

Work with families to build understanding of disability

and inclusive supports.

Assist with coordination

and consultation with community agencies

Maintain compliant documentation

Support the consultation

and implementation of 504 plans

Provide additional consultation around social-emotional and behavioral systems and structures

Support counseling and other intervention supports

as appropriate and under supervision.

Partner with teachers, school leaders, student services team members, and related service providers to support MTSS systems and student intervention planning.; Assist in providing consultation and guidance to administrators, teachers, and families regarding general education and special education supports.; Assist with coordination, communication, and consultation with community agencies, as appropriate.; Participate in frequent direct and indirect supervision with Rocketship’s school psychology leadership and school psychology team.

## Job Summary Job Summary The School Psychologist Intern will support Rocketship’s Integrated Special Education team by providing direct and indirect support to students, families, teachers, and school leaders. This role is designed for a graduate-level school psychology intern who is working toward licensure and seeking hands-on experience in a public elementary school setting. This position is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and supports Rocketship’s Milwaukee campuses. The School Psychologist Intern will work under supervision and support school teams with psychoeducational evaluations, IEP meetings, pre-referral processes, behavior consultation, social-emotional supports, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Rocketship schools use a meaningful inclusion model for special education. A core part of this role is supporting teams in developing plans and interventions that allow students, regardless of disability, to access the general education setting to the greatest extent appropriate.
