Must Have
Completion/Graduation from accredited RN or LVN program, Valid Texas RN or LVN license, Minimum one year direct patient care experience

What You'll Do.
Provide direct patient care
Administer daily medications
Administer emergency medications
Administer medical treatments
Collect and update immunizations
Conduct state mandated screening
Implement Individualized Health care Plans
Update Individualized Health care Plans
Collaborate with principals
Collaborate with school counselors
Collaborate with teachers
Collaborate with parents
Collaborate with food service
Collaborate with physicians
Participate in ARD meetings
Collaborate with Special Education Department
Collaborate with 504 coordinators
Inform teachers of student conditions
Train teachers on student conditions
Document student illnesses
Document student injuries
Document student medications
Document student interactions
Provide student privacy
Maintain confidentiality
Provide training to faculty
Provide training to staff
Train unlicensed staff
Follow-up with physicians
Clarify physician orders
Initiate emergency care plans
Attend ARDs for support
Interpret health care needs
Maintain accurate student health records
Compile physical reports
Compile computerized reports
Maintain physical records
