We are currently seeking Part-Time Drivers and Route Support Drivers in St. Thomas. Part-Time Drivers will be assigned to open routes, while Route Support Drivers will assist with temporary vacancies and support future route opportunities. ### **Your role:** * Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day * Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle * Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition * Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well kept, professional vehicle * Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards * Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle * Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations * Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers * This is a unionized position **Requirements** ### **Your profile:** * You are safety focused * You hold a valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year (Preference will be given to E or B class drivers) * You are 21 years of age or over * You are a safe driver with a clean driving record * You can obtain a clean criminal record search
