What You'll Achieve.
Ensure a reliable and positive experience for students; Ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition; Maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards; Foster a safe and respectful environment for all passengers
Industry & Context.
Unionized position, Must be available for split shifts, Must be comfortable driving in all weather conditions, Must be comfortable driving large vehicles
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid minimum full G class drivers license for at least 1 year, 21 years of age or over, Safe driver with a clean driving record, Ability to obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening, Sound knowledge of Markham and surrounding areas, Ability to work independently, Available for the required shifts: Monday to Friday approximately 6:00am to 9:00am AND 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions, Comfortable driving large vehicles, Basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

Conduct pre and post trip inspections
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bus
Complete daily Hours of Service reports
Report mechanical issues
Address student behaviour issues
Participate in ongoing training
