Rolling V Bus Corp. Dispatchers are responsible for communicating route information to their drivers and ensuring they have the resources necessary to succeed at their tours of duty. Their main duties include logging each call, providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the field units’ routes to prioritize and organize their schedules. **Responsibility Profile : ** * Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to parents, school district personnel, drivers, monitors and the public while handling questions * Greet visitors, employees, and customers in a welcoming and professional manner while maintaining a positive office environment. * Dispatching drivers and monitors for school routes, transit routes and paratransit * Monitor daily route coverage and make real-time operational decisions to address call-outs, delays, breakdowns, or emergency situations in a professional and efficient manner. * Utilize telephones, two-way radios, email, and dispatch software to communicate effectively with staff and customers. * Demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Work closely with supervisors and management to resolve operational issues and ensure continuity of service. * Prepare and maintain daily schedules, route information, reports, and other operational documentation. * Maintain accurate records including school calendars, paratransit records and operational logs. * Utilize computer systems and programs efficiently, including Microsoft Office, email systems, routing software, and other transportation software * Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee or student information. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Must acquire CDL within six (6) months of hire. **Qualifications** * One (1) year of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred. * High Scho
