This is a clerical position which is the first line representative to the hospitals and surgery centers and is responsible for scheduling appointments and operative procedures. This position works as a team member of the clinic. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinates the scheduling of appointments and surgical procedures accurately, recognizing the importance and relationship to patient care * Verifies insurance benefits * Obtains insurance pre-certification and authorization as required * Coordinates and schedules patient appointments to include pre-op, pre-admit and post-op appointments * Schedules all meetings for provider, including attorney and vendor meetings * Maintains, coordinates and manipulates provider clinic schedule to accommodate surgical cases, CME, vacation, court appearance, attorney depositions and all other meetings for the provider, using both Epic and MS Outlook programs **Requirements:** * High school graduate or equivalent preferred * Two (2) years of clerical experience in a medical environment (preferred) **Why MultiCare?** **Rooted in the local community** Partnering with patients, families and neighbors across the Pacific Nort
