Reporting to Inventory Control Manager, this role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Central Kitchen facility. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way. Major Responsibilities: * Maintain the Department activity ensuring that goals are properly communicated and attained. * Ensure that all products produced in the facility meet the standards for quality and portion size. * Ensure products are properly labeled and loaded into totes. * Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures including cleaning, sanitation, government regulation and food safety. * Ensure proper Health & Safety practices are adhered to for efficiency and work safety. * Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment. * May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis. ## Qualifications * Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. * Superior quality and customer service standards. * High personal initiative and problem-solving ability. * Knowledge of basic computer skills. * Superior standards of sanitation, cleanliness and food safety. * Strong team-oriented approach to tasks. * Positive outlook with a history of proven dependability and commitment. * Willingness to strictly adhere to company policies and procedures. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
