The **SCA Claims Processor I** is responsible for coding and processing claim forms. Responsible for processing Medicare Part B professional claims. **How you will make an impact:** * Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made. * Researches and analyzes claims issues. * Learning the activities/tasks associated with his/her role. * Works under direct supervision. * Relies on others for instruction, guidance, and direction. **Minimum Requirements:** * Requires HS diploma or equivalent. * _This position is part of our Wellpoint Federal division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants to meet the residency requirement of living in the United States for at least three of the past five years._ **Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:** * Good oral and written communication skills
